Fabrication of a light-emitting device based on the CdS/ZnS spherical quantum dots

Abstract In this work, we focus on the colloidal quantum dot based light-emitting diodes (QD-LEDs) performance. First, synthesize spherical QDs with a CdS core that covered wider band gap II–VI semiconductor acting as shell (ZnS). order to nano crystal structure of CdS/ZnS/CdS/ZnS, use reverse micelle process. These four-layer well dots (QWQDs) can generate white light emission. The positional design different layers i.e., core/shell QD emitters is critical factor for emissive devices. blue emission generated by mixes green/orange components originating from ZnS inner and creates an efficiency Then, fabricate white-QDLED device FTO/ ZnO / CBP/ MoO 3 Al films. A thin film CdS/ZnS/CdS/ZnS deposited electrostatically assembled solutions. experimental results show spectra current density through LED are controlled varying particle sizes. peaks absorbance Photoluminescence (PL) spectrums structures get red shifted size increases. Furthermore, QD-LED smaller layer has higher density.
